Dr. Shukri Al-Marashdeh, Chairman of the Board of Directors and General Manager of Jadara University, received the 2024 Ethical Leadership in Business Excellence Award in its second edition. The award ceremony was organized by the Jordanian Businessmen Association in collaboration with the Arab Renaissance for Democracy and Development (ARDD), and under the patronage of H.E. Minister of Investment Khulood Al-Saqqaf.

Dr. Al-Marashdeh was honored for his outstanding role in ethical business leadership and his significant contributions to supporting the local Jordanian market, enhancing its competitiveness and sustainability, adapting to crises, and promoting economic development in Jordan.

The award was accepted on behalf of Dr. Al-Marashdeh by Prof. Dr. Habis Al-Zboon, President of Jadara University, during the ceremony themed "Towards a More Competitive, Sustainable, and Crisis-Resilient Jordanian Economy."

The award aims to foster a decent, productive, and investment-attractive work environment in Jordan and to recognize leaders and investors who have contributed to modernizing the Jordanian economy.

The award ceremony was attended by a distinguished group of business leaders and representatives from the public and private sectors, as well as local and international civil society. The event celebrated the achievements of those who have contributed to the economic advancement of Jordan.

The Ethical Leadership in Business Excellence Award is a civil society-led initiative, executed in partnership between ARDD and the Jordanian Businessmen Association. It aims to recognize the efforts of small, medium, and large companies in Jordan in achieving excellence in sustainable entrepreneurship and corporate social responsibility, with a focus on sustainable innovations targeting the broader market and providing benefits to the largest segment of society.
