"Jadara University Delegation Visits Czech Academy for International Advisory Committee Meeting and Signs Cooperation Agreement"

A delegation from Jadara University, headed by the esteemed Chairman of the Board of Directors and General Director, Dr. Shukri Al-Marashdeh, visited the Czech Academy in Brno. The delegation included Dr. Manal Ibrahim, Director of the American University Schools of the Middle East, and Professor Dr. Marwan Al-Mousa from the Department of Energy Engineering and member of the International Advisory Committee of the International Institute of Metrology at the Czech Academy of Sciences. The purpose of the visit was to attend the International Advisory Committee meeting, comprising ten of the world's leading scientists, to review the institute's programs and laboratories, meet with its researchers, and explore possibilities for scientific and training collaboration.

Dr. Al-Marashdeh and his accompanying delegation toured the institute's laboratories and facilities, receiving detailed briefings from the administrators about the institute's most prominent scientific applications.

During the visit, Dr. Al-Marashdeh presided over the signing ceremony of a joint academic and scientific cooperation agreement between Jadara University and the institute. The agreement was signed by Dr. Al-Mousa on behalf of the university and Professor Joseph Lazar, the director of the institute.

The agreement aims to strengthen the existing scientific cooperation between the university and the institute, which has resulted in the publication of several joint scientific research papers in top-ranked international journals over the past months. It also includes intensifying scientific exchanges and technical coordination, with a view to applying international accreditation standards to establish a joint Jordanian-Czech scientific system. This system will focus on enhancing joint scientific and technical research, particularly in graduate programs, student and researcher exchanges, and community service through the university's Community Service Center.

Furthermore, the agreement entails attending a series of lectures on the scientific, technical, and research programs offered by the institute and reviewing the International Advisory Committee's observations to develop the institute's work.

The delegation, led by Dr. Al-Marashdeh, visited the institute's international scientific laboratories, which included departments such as electronics and plasma technology, focused optics, microphotonics, large signals, magnetic resonance and severe cooling, electron microscopes (including the first electron microscope ever manufactured at the institute), the Materials Information Center with dense emission, thermal radiation, applied superconductivity, applications of crystalline systems under very low temperatures, applied space science research, laser cooling of nanobodies, artificial intelligence and medical technology group, and electronic optics group.

The parties agreed to intensify scientific visits, hold joint scientific conferences, train students, and enhance academic, student, and scientific exchanges.

Additionally, the Jadara University delegation, led by Dr. Al-Marashdeh, met with Jordanian doctoral researchers who won the institute's top competitive scientific awards this year and last year, reflecting great respect and appreciation for these researchers.

At the conclusion of the visit, Dr. Al-Marashdeh exchanged commemorative shields with the institute's administrators.
