The delegation of Jadara University to Turkey concludes its work program by activating a joint cooperation agreement with Marmara University.

The delegation of Jadara University, represented by the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Dr. Shukri Al-Marashdeh, and the Vice-President of the University, Prof. Iman Al-Bashiti, concluded his official work program for Turkey, that is full of activities, events, meetings and various visits, to a number of major educational institutions in Istanbul, by activating a joint cooperation agreement that the university had signed recently with Marmara University.

This came during the visit of the Marashdeh and prof. Iman Al-Bashiti to Marmara University, where they were received by the Dean of the Faculty of Theology (Sharia), Professor Ismaeil Safa Oston, the faculty international relations manager, Dr. Mahmoud Sami Kanbash, and the Head of the international Arabic center for education, applications and researches in 29 Mayis university, Dr. Ibrahim Hallalesheh.

During the visit, prospects for joint cooperation between the two sides and mechanisms for developing them during the next stage were discussed, and an extensive discussion took place on the best ways to implement the terms of the agreement when it is activated starting from the next academic year.

The terms of the agreement that were activated between the two sides stipulate the exchange of visits between faculty members and students, the formation of joint research teams, the holding of joint lectures, conferences and seminars, and the participation and exchange of benefits in many academic issues, which can be gained through a cooperative program for the exchange of faculty members and students in the two stages Undergraduate and graduate studies.

The agreement also aims to encourage scientific activities and joint research, the progression of international projects, and work together in striving to strengthen and develop a cooperative relationship between the two sides through participation in seminars, conferences, academic meetings, workshops, and the creation of short- and long-term academic programs.

At the end of the visit, Dr.Al-Murashdeh and prof. Iman Al-Bashiti exchanged shields and souvenirs with representatives of Marmara University.

Marmara University is the second largest university in Turkey, offering a total of 136 undergraduate programs, 11 post-baccalaureate higher education institutes and a continuing education center.

Marmara University is unique in that it is the only Turkish university that offers bachelor's and post-bachelor's programs in four languages: Turkish, French, English and German.


It is noteworthy that the Jadara University delegation to Turkey, includes the Chairman of its Board of Directors, Dr. Shukri Al-Marashdeh, and the Vice-President of the University, Prof. Iman Al-Bashiti, had signed joint cooperation agreements with the Universities of Aydın and 29 Mayis.

The visit, which was accompanied by a lengthy work program that lasted for several days, aimed to get acquainted with the educational environment of those universities, and to discuss aspects of joint cooperation with them, as it led to the signing of two agreements in the field of university education
