Dr. Shukri Al-Marashdeh Celebrates Jordan's 78th Independence Day at American Schools of the Middle East

Dr. Shukri Al-Marashdeh, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Jadara University and General Manager of the American Schools of the Middle East, attended the celebration held by the schools on the occasion of Jordan's 78th Independence Day. The event was attended by the school's Principal, Dr. Manal Ibrahim, along with faculty members, administrative staff, and students.

In his speech, Dr. Al-Marashdeh emphasized that Independence Day is an occasion to remember the sacrifices of the nation's people who worked tirelessly to build and elevate the nation, celebrating the achievements realized under the Hashemite leadership.

He highlighted that Jordan, under the leadership of His Majesty, continues to progress and thrive in various fields, having made significant strides in political and economic reforms.

Dr. Al-Marashdeh extended his heartfelt congratulations to His Majesty King Abdullah II ibn Al Hussein and Crown Prince Al Hussein ibn Abdullah on this cherished occasion, praying for their continued health and for the preservation of security and stability in the country.

Dr. Manal Ibrahim, the school's Principal, stated that this celebration is a tribute to the achievements and dedication encouraged by the nation's leader. She noted that the school's initiative to celebrate this day of pride and sovereignty reflects the progress and accomplishments that Jordan has achieved under its wise leadership.

The event featured a variety of artistic performances expressing loyalty and belonging to the nation and the Hashemite leadership, including poetry recitals, traditional folk segments, and dabke performances by the students.

At the end of the ceremony, Dr. Al-Marashdeh and Dr. Manal Ibrahim honored the outstanding students who excelled in the Ministry's competitions, including the Arab Reading Challenge, Quran memorization, swimming, and robotics.
