Jadara and American Schools Shine at the Ninth International Conference on German Education Accreditation in Berlin

Jadara University and the American Schools for the Middle East, represented by a delegation led by Dr. Shukri Al-Marashdeh, Chairman of the University's Board of Directors, and the General Director of the University, participated in the Ninth International Conference on German Accreditation in Education, Training, and Employment. The delegation also included Prof. Dr. Iman Al-Basheti, Vice President of Jadara University, Prof. Dr. Bilal Al-Zaqebah, Director of the E-Learning Center, and Dr. Manal Ibrahim, Director of the American Schools for the Middle East. The conference is part of the 2023 International Program aligned with European Union standards and took place in Berlin, Germany.

Over the course of two consecutive days, the conference addressed several important topics. This included the transfer of the German vocational system to the Arab world and the accreditation of centers for its implementation. Furthermore, discussions revolved around connecting the outcomes of vocational training and education with the labor market. The conference also touched upon the professional development of technical and vocational training specialists, harnessing modern technology's role in enhancing technical education and vocational training, educational management, ISO accreditation, and the adoption of European standards.

The conference also delved into the accreditation mechanism for the employment of graduates from programs offered by participating entities in both international and local labor markets. It presented the model and outcomes of the German education and vocational training system and emphasized the role of the German vocational training system in combating unemployment in the Arab world and meeting the German labor market's needs. Participating entities in the conference will receive official, government-issued, and globally recognized German-European accreditation. They will also be endorsed based on ISO international standards for education and training quality, fostering opportunities for collaboration and twinning with esteemed German academies, institutions specializing in education, training, and employment. This collaboration will facilitate direct employment opportunities in international labor markets with substantial advantages.

Throughout the conference, various sessions, speeches, and research papers were presented. Dr. Al-Marashdeh was appointed by the conference's president to chair a session and honor the participants, distributing certificates to them. On the sidelines of the conference, Dr. Al-Marashdeh discussed several matters related to the vocational system, training, and employment with various German government officials, including the German Minister of Labor. In recognition of his contributions, Dr. Al-Marashdeh presented the German Minister of Labor with a shield from Jadara University.
