Jadara University, represented by its Chairman of the Board of Directors and General Director, Dr. Shukri Al-Marashdeh, and its Vice President, Professor Dr. Iman Al-Bashiti, participated in the international conference of the “QS” World Classifications Organization (Reimagine Education), which specializes in the field of university education. The event was hosted by the Khalifa University of Science and Technology in Abu Dhabi in order to explore the latest innovative methods for teaching students and mechanisms for employing them.
Professor Dr. Al-Bashiti expressed her great pleasure in participating in the conference because of its importance in learning about the most important and prominent modern and advanced teaching methods adopted in the participating universities from various countries of the world.
She said that Jadara University's participation in this unique conference in the Arab region comes in the context of the interest of the university's governance in keeping pace with the development taking place in the forms and patterns of university education at the international level.
She indicated that the conference was pivotal in forming key partnerships between educational technology companies, universities, schools, and non-profit educational institutions around the world.
She pointed out that the conference is important to gain knowledge with the most innovative minds to discuss the future of teaching and learning and exchange experiences in the field of university education.
Al-Bashiti stressed that this type of conference will enhance the aspirations and ambitions of Jadara University towards internationalism, its partnership with international universities, and its visibility in all its specializations to all students from around the world.
It is noteworthy that Khalifa University of Science and Technology is a world-class intensive research university located in Abu Dhabi, in the sisterly United Arab Emirates. It includes three colleges, three research institutes, 20 research centers and 37 departments covering a wide range of specializations in science, engineering and medicine.
