 Jadara University is thrilled to announce its unprecedented achievement in the QS Arab Forum. For the first time in its history, the university has secured a prestigious global ranking, placing it among the top 171-200 universities in the Arab and Middle Eastern region. Notably, Jadara University is also the leading private institution in the northern region.This occurred during the QS Arab Forum conference held in Bahrain on the 3rd and 4th of October. 

The university was represented at the conference by Vice President, Professor Dr. Iman Al-Basheti. During the conference, she held discussions with Dr. Ashwin Fernandes, the Executive Director of QS, Dr. Lee Kamolems, the Director of Analytics and Evaluation at QS, Mr. Rami Awad, the Regional Director of QS, and Ms. Serena Risi, the Marketing Director of QS. These discussions aimed to explore Jadara University's future prospects in terms of its ranking in QS at both the Arab and global levels.  These discussions revolved around Jadara University's future position within the QS rankings, both at the regional and global levels. The outcome was the formulation of a strategic plan aimed at securing a prominent place for Jadara University in the upcoming local and global rankings.

Dr. Shukri Al-Marashdeh, Chairman of the Board of Directors at Jadara University, emphasized the vital importance of the QS ranking for the institution. He highlighted how this achievement would elevate the university to stand among the best institutions in the region and underscore its excellence in research, teaching, internationalization, and the esteemed reputation of its academics and graduates. Dr. Habis Al-Zoubon, Acting President of the University, added that the QS ranking system provides valuable, impartial information to guide students in making informed educational and career choices. He emphasized the critical role of universities in preparing graduates for the job market and fulfilling students' aspirations in securing suitable employment.

Jadara University is committed to international rankings and considers them an essential tool to position the institution correctly, both at the local and global levels. These rankings serve as a testament to the university's dedication to achieving international standards in academic programs, educational initiatives, administrative excellence, impactful scientific research, and community engagement. Dr. Iman Al-Basheti expressed the university's unwavering commitment to achieving higher rankings and recognition. She shared that the university is poised to advance its position among regional and global universities and enhance its status as a beacon of academic excellence.

At the culmination of the conference, Dr. Iman Al-Basheti paid tribute to Dr. Lee Kamolems for his invaluable guidance and support to Jadara University. This historic achievement signifies a new era for Jadara University, as it solidifies its reputation as a leading institution in the region, focused on academic excellence, research innovation, and the holistic development of its students.
