 Jadara University has entered the Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Rankings 2024 for the first time, securing a position among the top 301-400 universities worldwide. The university has achieved this significant milestone by excelling in several key Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

In a remarkable achievement, Jadara University has topped both public and private Jordanian universities. It ranked 93rd globally in the "Responsible Consumption and Production" category and 46th in the "Quality Education" category.

### Key Rankings:
- **Goal 1: No Poverty**: Ranked 201-300 globally
- **Goal 4: Quality Education**: Ranked 46th globally
- **Goal 6: Clean Water and Sanitation**: Ranked 301-400 globally
- **Goal 12: Responsible Consumption and Production**: Ranked 93rd globally
- **Goal 17: Partnerships for the Goals**: Ranked 401-600 globally

Overall, Jadara University stands in the 301-400 bracket globally and second locally across all Jordanian universities.

### Leadership Comments:
Dr. Shukri Al-Marashdeh, Chairman of the Board of Directors, congratulated the university family and the ranking committee for this outstanding academic achievement. He affirmed the university’s commitment to its strategic plan to maintain leadership in higher education.

Prof. Dr. Habis Al-Zboon, President of the University, expressed his gratitude to the board, particularly Al-Marashdeh, for their continuous support. He acknowledged the efforts of the faculty and administrative staff, emphasizing the crucial role of the ranking committee in achieving this unique academic success.

### Committee Chair’s Remarks:
Prof. Dr. Iman Al-Basheti, Chair of the Global Rankings Committee, expressed her pride in these advanced results, particularly in "Responsible Consumption and Production" and "Quality Education." She highlighted the significance of scientific research, graduate qualifications, lifelong learning principles, and graduate engagement in the job market.

She thanked the university governance, represented by Al-Marashdeh and Al-Zboon, for their continuous support, appreciating the committee members' dedication and efforts in achieving these outstanding results.

### Commitment to Sustainable Development Goals:
Prof. Dr. Iman Al-Basheti emphasized the university’s adherence to international standards related to the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) adopted by all United Nations member states. These goals aim to end poverty, protect the planet, and ensure peace and prosperity for all by 2030.
