On a relatively vast horizontal expanse, lies a seed of educational goodness, sown by the hands of "a farmer known as Abu Firas," which has grown into economic, developmental, and educational growth, widely recognized. It is adorned with a sign derived from a Jordanian heritage rich in civilization, progress, and education, titled Jadara.

The modern buildings, supported by the efforts of Dr. Shukri Al-Marashdeh, began as a single ear of grain but have since developed into a flourishing academic institution in the northern region, serving as a beacon of education for Jordanians and Arabs from across the Arab nation.

Between the establishment of Jadara in 2005 and its present model in 2024, there have been significant milestones and memories of hard work and dedication, during which the infrastructure has grown and expanded to its current state.

The infrastructure and buildings at the university, which include seven colleges offering 56 programs in the sciences, humanities, and social sciences, embody the adage "you reap what you sow." While this saying carries investment and economic connotations, it also encompasses developmental, cultural, and economic aspects, contributing to social welfare. Al-Marashdeh aimed to benefit hundreds of families whose breadwinners gained job opportunities that reflected their unique capabilities and competencies. This, in turn, has positively impacted the human resources trained at the university, supplying both local and international labor markets.

According to the "Green Metrics" university ranking, Jadara University ranked 117th globally and 45th among Arab universities. It was also listed last year in the QS World University Rankings, marking its entry into the global arena. This positioned the university among the top 25% of higher education institutions worldwide according to the "Academic and Research Institutions" ranking, which considers scientific performance in the last year across key research, economic, innovative, and societal impact areas.

Thanks to its policy and philosophy of sustainable development and green buildings, Jadara has maintained an advanced position on the global university map, ranking 182nd out of 1,183 universities evaluated globally in this field. This reflects the efficacy and philosophy of Al-Marashdeh's investment strategy alongside the continuous development of service and facility infrastructure, viewed as growth and development factors for the university, its students, academics, and administrators.

Effective management in the investment sector has undoubtedly promoted academic and educational development, resulting in approximately 12,000 graduates since its inception, including around 4,000 from other nationalities. Currently, around 9,000 students are pursuing various degrees, with 16 graduate programs and 34 undergraduate programs, continuously meeting market demands and scientific advancements.

Congratulations to those who sowed the seeds, with the hope of continued harvest for the benefit of the northern region and its people.
