In the presence of Al-Marashdeh, Jadara University signs a memorandum of understanding with Istanbul Culture University

In the presence of His Excellency Dr. Shukri Al-Marashdeh, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Jadara University and its General Director, a memorandum of understanding was signed today, Wednesday, in Istanbul, between the Universities of Jadara and Istanbul Kültür University, which included many axes that the two sides seek to achieve to develop educational programs and strengthen the bonds of joint cooperation between the two universities in the scientific, academic and research fields with the aim of exchange of experiences, professors and students.

The memorandum of understanding was signed by the Vice President, Professor Dr. Iman Al-Bashiti, on behalf of the University of Jadara , and on behalf of the University of Istanbul Culture, the President of the University, Professor Dr. Vadim Yuksektepe, in the presence of her Vice President, Professor Dr. Gulse Aldiz.

Al-Marashdeh and Al-Bashiti were received by the President of Istanbul Culture University, Professor Dr. Vadim Yuksektepe, and a number of senior university employees, where an extensive discussion took place between the two sides on the most prominent topics related to mechanisms for enhancing aspects of joint cooperation between them and ways to develop them.

The President of Istanbul Culture University, Professor Dr. Vadim Yüksektepe, welcomed the visiting delegation from Jadara University, represented by Al-Marshdeh and Al-Bashiti, stressing the depth of the bilateral relations that bring together the two friendly countries, Jordan and Turkey, in various fields, especially cultural and educational ones.

For his part, Al-Marashdeh stressed that Jadara University, within its policy, plans educational programs aimed at attracting students from various countries, works to provide all forms of support and give them the utmost care and attention. He praised the close fraternal relations between the two brotherly countries, Jordan and Turkey, at the level of leadership of the two countries and the two brotherly peoples.

Al-Marashdeh announced the provision of special incentive programs for Turkish students and Istanbul Culture University in particular within an educational program that includes studying at Jadara University in some specializations while learning the Arabic language.

In turn, Al-Bashiti indicated that joint cooperation in the fields included in the agreement will reflect positively on cultural exchange between students from both countries and will expand the horizons of cooperation in the field of research studies that compare learning and teaching between Jordan and Turkey, and will contribute to raising their ranking locally and globally.

The memorandum of understanding included the possibility of movement of faculty members or staff, the movement of graduate students between undergraduates, and the implementation of joint research activities and publications.

The memorandum also included the travel of Jadara students from the Faculties of Engineering and Arts and Languages to study for a semester at Istanbul Culture University, where the subjects they studied will be equivalent after their return to Jadara .

Jadara will also receive students from Culture University to learn the Arabic language or other subjects in the College of Literature and Languages or Engineering.

In addition to cooperation in the Erasmus Plus project for this year, which will provide support for the travel of professors, students and administrators between the two universities,

It opened the way for researchers from all faculties at the two universities to communicate to conduct joint research, noting that it was agreed on the first joint research presented by Vice President Al-Bashiti on comparing the teaching and learning process in Jordan and Turkey.

Al-Bashiti praised His Excellency Dr. Shukri AlMarashdeh, Chairman of the Board of Directors, for his great concern for the university’s progress forward and toward globalization and his personal interest in the file of international cooperation

She also thanked the University President, Professor Dr. Habes Al-Zboun, for his distinguished efforts to bring the university to international level.

In conclusion, Dr. Al-Marashdeh handed over a co mmemorative shield bearing the name and logo of Jadara to the President of Istanbul Culture University, who in turn also honored Dr. Al-Marashdeh and Dr. Al-Bashiti with a similar shield.
