, His Excellency Dr. Shukri Al-Marashdeh, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Jadara University/Director General, patronized the graduation ceremony for students of Jadara University who participated in the “Delightful Istanbul” program in the winter semester, which was hosted by the Istanbul Aydin University. This was in the presence of the Vice President of the University, Professor Dr. Iman Basheti, and the Vice President of Istanbul Aydin University Professor Mehmet Bashar. And Director of the Istanbul Delight Program, Professor Gurkan Donat.

It is noteworthy that the Delightful Istanbul Program is an international program hosted by the Istanbul Aydin University. 77 students from 18 countries around the world participated in this program, including a group of students from Jadara University with the subjects they studied during the program at Istanbul Aydin University being equivalent to the subjects upon their return to Jadara University.

Al-Marashdeh also honored the Vice President of Istanbul Aydin University and those in charge of this important international program, stressing the importance of the university’s participation in international student mobility and the students’ exposure to different cultures, which develops their ideas and enhances their abilities. He congratulated the students on their graduation from the program with distinction.

Basheti thanked those in charge of the Delightful Istanbul program for their keenness and good cooperation in following up on Jadara students and the joint work between Jadara and Istanbul Aydin Universities. Basheti gave a speech during the graduation ceremony of students from the program on behalf of Jadara University, in which she thanked the governorship of Istanbul Aydin University, Jadara University, and those in charge of the Delightful Istanbul program, and congratulated the success of the students of Jadara University, who were the only students who represented Jordan in this celebration.

The visit to Istanbul Aydin University resulted in holding a joint meeting with the aim of activating the rest of the terms of the cooperation efforts conducted between the two universities, including receiving Istanbul Aydin University students to learn the Arabic language during the next summer semester in Jadara, as well as publishing research by researchers from Jadara in the scientific journal of Istanbul Aydin University, and participating in Erasmus Plus projects that includes travel for student and academics between the two universities, exchanging research and educational experiences, participating in holding lectures, workshops and international conferences, in addition to activating the meeting between faculty members remotely starting next week in the faculties of arts and languages.
