Jadara University and the University of Islamic Sciences Malaysia have joined hands to introduce a cutting-edge Doctorate Program in Islamic Business. This innovative partnership opens the doors for aspiring students to access a high-quality education while accommodating their professional commitments. The signing ceremony, held at the headquarters of the Islamic University in Kuala Lumpur, marked a significant milestone in this endeavor.

 Professor Dr. Iman Al-Bashiti, Vice President of Jadara University, signed the agreement, officially launching the Doctorate program in Islamic business. Key attendees at the signing ceremony included Professor Dr. Bilal Al-Zoqiba, Assistant to the President for Quality Affairs, and Dr. Saleh Al-Omari, Deputy Dean of the College of Science and Information Technology, representing Jadara University. From the University of Islamic Sciences Malaysia, the delegation was led by Professor Dr. Khairy Khairy, Dean of the College of Economics and Information, accompanied by Dr. Hedaya, Dr. Munsa, Graduate Studies Coordinator, and Dr. Murad Ali, a faculty member in the international program.

During the ceremony, Professor Dr. Iman Al-Bashiti provided a comprehensive overview of Jadara University, highlighting its exceptional features, achievements, and state-of-the-art facilities that will support the newly established program.In response, Professor Dr. Khairy expressed his admiration for Jadara University's strengths and underlined the university's enthusiasm to collaborate in launching this program.

The collaborative teams will complete all necessary preparations to facilitate the program, including the submission of essential documentation to the Jordanian Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to obtain the required approvals.Furthermore, Professor Dr. Khairy addressed the demand among Jordanian students for Malaysian education. Residency requirements can sometimes present challenges to their studies. Professor Dr. Al-Bashiti clarified that this program eliminates residency requirements, providing students with the flexibility to study at Jadara University without interrupting their professional commitments.

As part of the partnership, Professor Dr. Khairy offered to support scientific research projects and establish a joint exchange of supervision and dissertation discussions between the two institutions. The universities have agreed to foster direct communication and exchange visits to make the most of their respective facilities, including classrooms, laboratories, and libraries.This partnership is poised to elevate academic standards and create fresh opportunities for students seeking advanced education in Islamic business, all while allowing them to continue their professional pursuits.
