Jadara University obtains the international ISO 9001:2015 quality certificate

In a step towards educational excellence and global reach, Jadara University obtained the international ISO 9001:2015 certificate in quality, from the international company INFINITY for Quality Systems.

The President of the University, His Excellency Professor Dr. Habes Hatamleh, and in the presence of the Vice President, Professor Dr. Iman Al-Basheti, received in his office today, Wednesday, the ISO 9001:2015 certificate from Engineer Muhammad Al-Bourini, President of Al-Bassam Foundation for Quality Systems, certified by the Infinity International Company for Quality Systems.

On this occasion, the Chairman of the Board of Directors/Director General, His Excellency Dr. Shukri Al-Marashdeh, congratulated the university family and its governance councils on this achievement, stressing the support of the Board of Directors for the university’s governance to implement its strategic plan to bring the university to global status.

The President of the University, His Excellency Professor Dr. Habes Hatamleh, confirmed that the University obtaining the ISO 9001/2015 certificate is a major achievement that confirms the University’s strong commitment to quality and the efficiency of the University’s colleges and centers and their professionalism in carrying out their tasks. This also indicates hat the University attaches great importance to developing and refining the skills of its staff through internaland external training and providing all capabilities that would raise the productive capacity of its cadres, and following a policy of motivation that will reflect positively on the university’s progress in various academic and administrative fields. He also thanked the chairmen and members of the Board of Directors for their great support of the university’s governance and harnessing all capabilities in order for the university to reach the level of one of the most prestigious universities in the world. He also thanked Dr. Saleh Al-Amr, Director of the Center for Development and Quality Assurance, the center’s staff, and the members of the teaching and administrative staff for their keenness, cooperation, and outstanding work in order to obtain this achievement. 

Professor Dr Habid Hatamleh also added that the administration of Jadara University is constantly seeking to obtain the best international accreditations and documentationin order to be a pioneer and at a high level in light of the global competition witnessed by educational institutions to distinguish the highest quality and most reliable institutions.

The Vice President, Professor Dr. Iman Al-Basheti, said that the ISO quality certificate is an international recognition for institutions that strive to improve the quality of their outputs and services as well as adhere to international standards. Jadara University obtaining this certificate reflects the university’s serious commitment to providing distinguished and sustainable education that competes with the finest international universities. This achievement is a part of the university's policy and strategic plan to raise Jadara's name at the local, regional and international levels.

Engineer Muhammad Al-Bourini also praised the great efforts made by Jadara University in promoting the scientific renaissance and raising the level of its students, its academic, scientific and research reputation, and its serious endeavour to obtain the highest international classifications and certificates in the field of quality.

The certificate handover ceremony was attended by Professor Dr. Ihsan Al-Rubai, Dean of the College of Arts and Languages, Dr. Saleh Al-Amr, Director of the Development and Quality Assurance Center, and Miss Enas Al-Shunnaq from the Development and Quality Assurance Center.
